Q: How long have you been making music?
A: “I use to rap in highschool but never took it seriously until the end of 2022. I’ve been releasing music for almost a year and a half now.”
Q: Tell us about your first song or projecT
A: “My first release was 'No Guidance' in October of 2022. It’s an introduction about my upbringing, also explaining my thoughts. Probably my worst track to date but we all start from somewhere.”
Q: Who serves as your inspiration in the music industry?
A: “Chaseytheillest due to his flows and dope style, Kendrick Lamar for his lyricism and narrative perspective on music, and Nas for his uniques style as well as his focus on entrepreneurship”
Q: Are there any notable features you have collaborated on?
A: “Back in October of 2023, I released a track called “Carolina Reaper” featuring Jake Strain from Albany, New York. It was my first time working with an artist outside of Canada.”
Q: If you could work with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
A: “Mac Miller, I would have enjoyed hanging out with him.”
Q:Who are your most significant supporters in your musical journey?
A: “Honestly my girlfriend is my number one fan.”
Q: Do you write your own material, and if so, what’s your creative process like?
A: “Yes I write my own material. I begin by streaming beats on BeatStars for inspiration. Once I find a suitable beat, I’ll write for days until finished. I usually revise all my tracks and replace a lot of lyrics. I then go to the studio and record.”
Q: What's your favourite genre or type of music to listen to?
A: “I have a versatile music taste. I listen to hip hop, classic rock, jazz, Indie rock, etc. There’s a lot.”
Q: Can you share insights into what you’re currently working on?
A: “Stay posted…”
Q: Tell us about your latest release.
A: “Dropped 'Malarkey Freeflow,' engineered by Seriously Taylor, on all platforms December 31st, 2023, alongside an official music video and a Rappaholic Tv episode. Go check them out.”
Q: When can we expect your next release?
A: “It's hard to say at the moment. Probably February 2024.”
Q: If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be
A: “New York City, U.S.A!”
Q: What’s the largest audience you have performed for?
A: “40-45 people. I did an open mic at ‘The Cut On Whyte’ event hosted at The Luxx.”
Q: Is there an artist you envision touring with in the future?
A: “Chaseytheillest or Mike Dimes. Both are young artists that are bound to prove there longevity.”
Q: Who is the producer behind your music?
A: “The local young prodigy Seriously Taylor at Up in Arms Studios.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in the next five years within your music career?
A: “I guess only time will tell. I plan to stay within the industry any way possible.”
